As a writer I have experience in crafting copy for b2b and b2c marketing, technical writing for position descriptions, and writing grant proposals for non-profits. I am also a copy-editor and a proofreader.

Over time I have worked some select roles across a few organizations, all of which have contributed significantly toward shaping my attitude, work methods, and skills.

My career has centered around the planning, shaping and production of content and and the associated processes across all media--print, web, scripts for radio & television, point of sale, and outdoor. There is no shortage of genres either--creative, business, technical, non-fiction, verse or just whimsical enough to make for good reading. In all my roles in Advertising, Public Relations, and Marketing, I worked many responsibilities from a team builder to a reliable partner with other department heads in developing multiple methodologies to execute a project. Here are a few insights I've gleaned -

• smart, uncomplicated language with radical vision always stands out
• being visible is more than half the battle won
• content with style is the win-win-win

It is fun being involved in the creative process, but it is the brainstorming and the generation of ideas and then, realizing the best possible execution of those ideas, that make it all worth the combined effort. Currently, I am working as an independent contractor and am available in an advisory and oversight capacity for content production.
